Ministries of Our Church
We are delighted with the dedication of our church members who are tirelessly giving up their best for the Glory of God. You can see a glimpse of what ministries that we have in our church.

The Sabbath School is where everyone can discuss and learn more about the truth of the Bible through a series of Bible Study Guide Book. Every member is encouraged to express their thought and opinion while the discussion leader will guide the discussion and looking on what the Bible actually said about the particular topics. If you are interested in an open, guilt-free discussion, come and join this ministry.

Kids In Discipleship Program

Our church is committed to embracing children as a vital part of the church now and supporting parents in their role as spiritual mentors. In response to that commitment, we have embarked on this exciting ministry called Kids in Discipleship. K.I.D. is a mentoring ministry designed for families and focused on children.
Parents/ Mentors meet for Footprints in the Sand, a 12-Lesson small group Bible study series for parents and other mentors every Sabbath afternoon. This session focus first on personally growing their relationship with Christ, and second on growing as spiritual mentors to their children.
After which Footprints for Kids, an interactive multi-generational small group Bible study series for parents/mentors and their children will be launched. This weekly small group setting brings the parents/mentors and children to study God’s Word together. Together participants pray, enjoy group activities and communicate about spiritual things as they search the scriptures and learn how to apply them to their homes. Together they learn about God’s love for them, and His plan for their life.
The Footprints curriculum helps families invest quality time together; quality time in relationship – a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. This program is meant for parents/mentors and children age 5 – 13.

Filipino Ministry
To accommodate our Filipino brethren with a service in their mother tongue, Balestier SDA Church had established a particular ministry for this purpose. A vibrant meeting is conducted every Sabbath afternoon at our church Social hall with different kind of activities. Our Filipino brother and sister also actively engaged in evangelism reaching out to their fellow Filipino brother and sister around Singapore. In January 2010 a special Filipino pastor will be added into the ministerial team of Balestier Church as the Filipino Ministry is moving toward establishing the first Filipino SDA Church in Singapore.
